What: The Ripon Society’s Bully Pulpit Luncheon with United States Secretary of Transportation Mary E. Peters
U.S. Secretary of Transportation Mary E. Peters will be the featured speaker at the Ripon Society’s first “Bully Pulpit” Luncheon of 2008. Secretary Peters is scheduled to discuss Administration policies related to transportation and infrastructure at the luncheon. The luncheon is the first this year in the Bully Pulpit series, which takes its name in part from Theodore Roosevelt’s description of the presidency and public office as places where issues should be discussed and policies proposed.
